Four students from Cal State Long Beach are competing in designing a welcome sign for the Long Beach Airport.
Erin Clark, Janice Fong, David Ly and Ryan Milner are the four students who will have their creations judged by airport officials and the winner will have their artwork re-constructed to sit at the end of one of the runways at the airport.
My Thoughts:
I think that it is a great opportunity for our art department to show its skill and creativity. I also think that it is wonderful that our school was chosen to represent their art at Long Beach Airport.

The art department at Long Beach State has many creative students and I've attended some of their showcases. Students creating a sing for an airport in Long Beach is a big deal. It shows that studets are connecting to the community and showcasing their skills.
I totally agree. I think that a lot of people think that art is to challenging. These students are actually willing to take the time and develop new pieces of art througout the semester. I think that these students are doing a great job in representing CSULB on and off campus.
